The Ground Game

Listen up Freshprint. You’re gonna be in a big place without much help. The structures are stable but have lots of nooks and crannies for these beetle boys to crawl out of. You gotta get in and get out. Hit your objectives and get to the extraction point. They’ll usually be in groups but don’t think one of those bastards won’t sit and watch his buddies evaporate while he waits patiently for you to let your guard down. In, out. Kapiche?

Ground Combat in Warped Universe

Choice is the name of the game. Turn-based or action, on the ground or in space. You get to choose how you face each challenge in the Warped Universe.

Whether you're engaging in methodical, strategic encounters through turn-based combat or diving into the chaos of real-time action, the battlefield is yours to control. But each mode brings its own strengths and challenges.

Two Ways to Fight

In turn-based, every move counts, positioning, resource management, and ability combinations determine the outcome of each battle. Take the time to analyze enemy positioning, set up combos, and maximize your advantage. How you deal with environmental hazards and cover will play a key role in ensuring you complete your objectives.

In action gameplay, however, there are no turns, no waiting, just pure movement and instinct. Battles are fast, fluid, and driven by player skill. If you can’t sneak up on your foes to take advantage of the first move, you’ll have to dodge as much incoming fire as you can to survive. Momentum is your greatest weapon.

Shared Systems, Unique Experiences

No matter how you play, the core mechanics remain consistent. Equipment loadouts, upgrades, and abilities function across both modes, allowing you to seamlessly switch between styles depending on the mission or your preferred playstyle.

The Choice is Yours
