The Space Game
2 Apr 20255m read
Time can move slower out there, if you want. This reality is not exactly the same as what we’re used to back home. I prefer to watch closely and plan my moves. Trouble is, in that mode of consciousness the void has time to plan its moves as well. Think about what they might do. You should know their strategies. They are likely your own. Outmaneuver, outgun, and for Oracle’s sake use cover. You won’t be covering as much ground as other missions, but it may feel like it.
Space Combat in Warped Universe
Once again, the choice is yours. In the interplanetary battlefield, movement takes place over vast distances rather than tight confines. Sweeping manoeuvres may be useful but must always be purposeful.
Think Fast, Act Faster
In action space combat, one is always both predator and prey. Focus on a single target and your flank could be fully exposed. Prioritizing defensive manoeuvres may sacrifice opportunities that would otherwise bring about a swift resolution. Players must be both pilot and navigator if they want to return to Nexus Station in triumph. Those excelling in rapid reactions will enjoy everything that action space combat has to offer.

Limited Turns Require Meaningful Choices
Turn-based space combat takes tactical vision and careful consideration. Time is no longer the enemy, rather the limited capabilities of rapid directional changes and high speed propulsion.
Your enemy will take advantage of the same dilated time mechanic to actively thwart your efforts at every turn. Taking place on a hexagonally divided map, three dimensional space is visualized on a single plane. A considered approach to combat on such a playing field will be a vital component of the player’s strategy, and a major determinant of success.
Choice is the name of the game. Whether it’s turn-based or third-person action, you get to choose how you face each challenge in the Warped Universe.
Shared Systems, Unique Experiences
No matter how you play, the core mechanics remain consistent. Equipment loadouts, upgrades, and abilities function across both modes, allowing you to seamlessly switch between styles depending on the mission or your preferred playstyle.
