Are there factions in the game?

Warped Universe features two major factions that shape how players experience missions and progression:

Luminaries – The Light-aligned faction
Luminaries focus on exploration, discovery, and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. Completing Luminary missions grants bonuses tied to Light-based abilities, rewards, and effects.

Foundationalists – The Gravity-aligned faction
Foundationalists prioritize stability, structure, and control. Their missions provide buffs and benefits that enhance Gravity-based gameplay and defensive strategies.

Players are free to support either faction, and their choices influence the balance of Light and Gravity across the solar system. The more missions a faction completes, the stronger its influence becomes, shaping environmental conditions, mission modifiers, and communal advantages for everyone.
