What is Residuum?

Residuum is the essential resource that connects every mission to meaningful outcomes in Warped Universe. It is the “detritus of eternity” left behind by the Void’s influence; powerful, volatile, and vital to creation and survival.

While playing missions on both ground and in space, players collect Residuum by defeating Void enemies and completing objectives. The resource has two major purposes:

Individual Progression

• At the end of missions, Residuum can be allocated to claim core rewards such as Nexite, Sparks, Artifractal Cores, and Battle Pass XP.
• In some cases, players can also use Residuum during a mission to amplify abilities or transmute it into ammunition or strategic advantages.
• This creates meaningful choices: spend Residuum immediately for tactical benefits or save it for post-mission rewards that drive long-term progression.

Shared Universe Progression

• In the Nexus Station, Residuum fuels the development of entire planets and their facilities.
• Building planetary infrastructure, from research labs to factories - unlocks new technologies, buffs, mission types, and deeper progression systems for all players.
• As the community contributes Residuum across missions, planets evolve from early birthing states toward fully realized worlds, expanding the shared solar system in meaningful ways.
