What are Sparks?

Sparks are the upgrade system used to enhance and personalize equipment in Warped Universe. Earned as mission rewards, Sparks allow players to modify weapons, armor, and ships to fit their preferred playstyle.

Each Spark applies a specific enhancement, such as increased damage, faster reload speed, improved critical chance, or stronger defenses. Applying Sparks costs Nexite and consumes a limited resource on each item called Potential, which controls how many upgrades a piece of gear can hold.

If players are unhappy with their upgrades, they can reset an item’s Potential and try again, creating a meaningful balance between optimization and experimentation.
