What is the Void?

The Void is the primary antagonistic force in Warped Universe and the main source of combat and progression.

In gameplay terms, the Void appears as hostile enemies and environmental threats that players face in every mission. These Void Entities attack planets, facilities, and player objectives, attempting to destabilize and destroy the Warped Universe.

When players defeat Void enemies, they drop Residuum, the core resource used to power progression. Collecting Residuum during missions allows players to earn Artifractal Cores for new gear, Sparks for upgrades, Nexite for enhancements, and Battle Pass XP at the end of each mission.

Void enemies are aligned with either light or gravity forces and use different damage types, requiring players to adapt their builds and strategies. Players fight back using their own light and gravity abilities, equipment, and teamwork to push the Void back and protect the evolving universe.

Every mission against the Void directly contributes to the growth and survival of the Warped Universe, making them both the narrative threat and the engine of gameplay progression.
